We'll get there. Not a bad season with what we had coming back. But the program is still no better than Polk II. If the hitting doesn't come around next year, Cohen's not going to be too much longer for this job. Our next coach needs to be someone with no ties at all to MSU or to Ron Polk. We need a fresh start.
Losing Stratton will be huge though. And the hitters won't get much better. If you can't hit by your 2nd season, you're never going to be a good hitter. Best we can hope for is a bunch of marginal hitter. Which would be a big improvement.Next year's going to be more of the same. We'll go to a regional, but we won't host and we won't win it. In other words, just like Polk II.</p>
Both were good hitters out of the blue during their senior years after doing nothing before that...<div>
