Predictions: SEC Week 1

I’m following the lead of Nick Saban this season in our SEC picks contest.I’m not defending anything. Sure, I dusted the ATL Kid (Edward Aschoff, in real life) last year to win the title. But this is a new year with new teams, new players and new opportunities. Every season stands on its own.Last year was a lot of fun, especially with our battle coming down to the bowls. I was on top of my game, and the Kid simply wasn’t ready for that kind of stage.

I think you are right but two things. One it could be four if Tenn lose and the other three could be someone else. Three or four sounds about right.

He says this team has potential to be one of Mullen's best then he follows it up with predicting us to win 38 - 14 over JSU. I'll be mad if we give up over 7 points, and do not accumulate 45+

We COULD name our score if we wanted to. If we chose to open up our whole playbook and let TR sling it for 60 minutes we could drop 80.

But what I want to see this game is the 1's get game experience, get their feet wet, and dominate the first half with a VERY vanilla playbook. Then I want them on the bench, healthy, while the 2's and 3's show what they can do. If Robinson and Milton have more carries than Perk i am a-ok.

So lets open up our entire playbook so Auburn and others can see what we are doing and risk injuries to our starters...

Quite frankly, I do not see why we would have to open up our entire playbook to put 45 on JSU. It is Jackson State, our first string should be able to score at will, and our 2nd and third string shouldn't struggle. I do not see why the 1st string should have to play a full three quarters in this game either. I think they play the full first half and then into the 3rd quarter before handing the reigns over to Dak and the 2nd string. I'll sit aside if I'm being that out of line about this.
