we need for mullen to push exactly the right buttons this satuday. on critical 3rd downs where we have to pick up the 3rd, we need to spread everybody out and run the draw right at the weakness of the defense. We need to play to our strengths by using plays that we, as a system, execute well with consistent results, and above all, we need dak to be a playmaker and game manager when the passing game doesnt open up like we want. if we continue to force it in there with poor reads and inaccuracy, lsu is going to make us pay. manage the game, dont throw it when its not there, and pic up critical downs with dak's legs with special emphasis on spreading out the defense. Mullen has a lot of pressure this week in dialing up the right play, breaking tendencies while keeping plays that have a high rate of success, and making sure the right players are on the field when we need them. dak making good decisions is critical.
