Cool. Leo, DLS, Fenwick and Iggy. Can't go wrong with any of those legacy schools repping the CCL in the PB
Still can't believe Brother Rice took a pass on this. But look at Lyons lossing to Curie. Better to stay home and not take a chance on embarrising yourself. If I'm not mistaken Iggy played their home games at SR too for a while. Any one gave an idea what Gatley would cost to rent?

i think you are right and I think DLS used Iggy's field when Cronin wasn't available this year.
Next week Leo/Fenwick winner vs Iggy/DLS winner.So I'm guessing the winners of those games play each other(It'll be the quarterfinals of the State playoffs) and 1 team that gets beat(if any) goes into the CCL Prep Bowl finals(played during Semifinals of State playoffs).I don't think any CCL team gets into the Prep Bowl playoffs if the get knocked out in the quarters.Depending on how many teams left in the CPS same there.Loser of Solorio/Phillips goes back into CPS playoffs
I'm not badmouthing any team so here is what I'm saying.Just say Fenwick and De La Salle win(No disrespect to Leo or Iggy or Larry).St.Laurence only CCL team to get beat in playoffs round 2.In CCL Prep Bowl playoffs next week it'd be Fenwick vs De La Salle with winner to play in CCL Final the Week after vs St.Laurence who would get a bye

This is going to be a great game. Not sure who wins - maybe a coin flip. Saw AC play both of them. Will give a speed advantage to Meteor and they play a cleaner brand of football, so pulling for them. Also love the emotion of that Meteor head coach!
Lindblom vs Simeon 6 pm this Friday(3rd) @ Gately.Payton will play Hubbard I'm guessing this week sometime.Have not heard anything yet on Montini playing in the Prep Bowl playoffs
I care but if you don't want to play you don't play.I get aggravated at College Basketball teams who snub the NIT,CIT or CBI tournaments as much like the Prep Bowl I love those little tournaments.
While I understand BR's decision; in general any reasonable shot to extend the season ... go for it!
We played our Homecoming game at U of C. This will be our first game at Ignatius.

If a CPS school that is still in the State Playoffs this week loses, then they will likely fall back in the CPS Playoffs. If a CPS school wins a State Playoff game this weekend and advances and then loses the following week, they would not be eligible to fall back into the CPS Playoffs. At least, thats how it has been done in the past.

Prep Bowl Football Playoff Game Information- 11.4.2017
This Saturday, November 4, Saint Ignatius will host De La Salle in the second round of the Chicago Catholic League (CCL) Prep Bowl football playoffs at Fornelli Field at 1:00 PM.
Parking is available for all fans attending the game in the Roosevelt/ Racine lot. As usual, the parking lot at Roosevelt and Blue Island will be closed to all fans except for handicapped parking with a valid placard.
CCL admission is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students. All Ignatius students with a valid school ID are admitted free, and all CCL passes will be honored. The gate will open at 12:00 PM, and only the gate accessed down the driveway at Roosevelt and Blue Island will be open for this game.
Fans can use the restrooms in Gentile Gym for this game. No concessions will be available for this game, but fans can bring food and drinks (no alcohol) into the stadium with them for the game. No tailgating of any type is allowed in any of the Ignatius parking lots at any time.

More concerned with winning a National title in Wrestling would be my guess.
Still don't get it. I understand they have less history with it and their wrestling program is top notch but man if one of the reasons I went there besides the great education was to play football and I'm a sophomore or junior and can't build tape, I wouldn't be happy. Anyway, more time for you to come out and see the Alma mater
