Prep vs Hartfield

Never thought I’d post something like this but since I’m a State and Saints fan, I haven’t seen a win in over a month.

Great game to watch. Streamed the entire thing from Starkville. Prep over Hartfield 51-45.

All new to me. Our first year at Prep. 7th and 5th so I’m there for the next 7 years. Watched us a couple of times this year so thought I’d watch the matchup tonight.

Hartfield seemed to have several solid athletes, but Prep seemed to play better as a team. No actual clue at all about either of them, but Hartfield seemed to fade in the 4th quarter while Prep seemed to still have energy.

That’s two divisional losses already for Hartfield after losing to MRA earlier.

I know. It's a joke.

It's a stupid comparison to make all the way around. Especially the way kids transfer and move around today. Athletes are athletes wherever they play. The field has never been level. Looking at it as 4 teams, this and that, is looking through the lens of the MS bubble.

That said, the big 4 need to quit talking shlt and go play a full 7A schedule before they get too cocky. It's like comparing the best of the G5 to the P4, when the G5 has a much easier schedule week in week out.

The comparisons and analogies will never end.
