LSU was 9-3 last season and finished 3rd overall in the SEC- and people are calling him an idiot (and yes, I know about the Oxford debacle- but let's not forget Saban lost to UAB and La-Monroe- **** happens)...Miles is LSU's winningest coach over a 5 yr period in the school's history. His worst season was 8-5, and that was achieved after losing his starting QB right before the season started
Stallion has them about right in his rankings as far as talent and what type of team they will have. The problem they face is that they play @Fla, @Aub, and @Arkansas- those games in BR this season are probably wins. On the road- different story. Fla is beatable because of the changes they are making on offense without the WR's to do it with, plus inexperience on D. Auburn has questions and Arkansas is bad on defense. It's going to be an interesting year in the SEC.
Georgia?? They play 2 of the conferences best defenses and the best offense in weeks 2-4 with a baby at QB. We'll see what kind of coach Richt is- because he does have some other good pieces to the puzzle. I doubt he gets fired as well, even when they finish 7-5. But there will be alot of bitching
