I’ve never been more excited for Preseason Prognosticators than I am this year. Starts first week of July.
It's not just you. I think spreading out the talent would help everyone. The only way I can see that happening is if there are significantly lowered scholarship/ total player/ walk-on limits.Same here. At the end of the day, I’m sure it’ll be the same teams(Bama, Georgia, and LSU) battling for supremacy, but I am really interested to hear more about what writers think about us, OM, UT, FL, etc.
Which brings up something I’ve been wondering... in a given season, is it better for MSU if there’s just one or two superpowers standing between us and the promised land or do we have better chances if the power is spread among more than just Bama, Georgia, and maybe one other? Maybe I’m kidding myself, but it seems like UT, Fl, and a couple other schools are starting to get some recruits that Saban and Smart would’ve normally stockpiled
I predict that the season will be suspended before it’s finished. I think that it will start but a few weeks in there will be teams forfeiting due to outbreaks and it will be shut down. I hope I’m wrong.
This will be the year of wild team forecasts. What if a team has 15 starters test positive for covid and have to quarantine for 2 weeks? What if a coach test positive and can’t be around his team? I guess you could pull a Hugg and coach from your hospital bed, but this might be a thing.
