My Region A rankings and last year's records
1. Essex 12-2 (athletic and everyone else is down)
2. Northumberland 7-4 (creeping up on #1 Essex, nah I'm just kiddin)
3. Colonial Beach 7-4 (they do a good job running their system)
4. Franklin 3-7 (about to return to the top of the Tri-Rivers)
5. Washington & Lee 8-4 (how tough is the Northern Neck 4 out of the top 5)
6. Sussex 9-3 (rebuilding but still probably better than other D1 Tri-Rivers teams not named Franklin)
7. West Point 8-3 (this should be their year, the Tidewater is bad even by Tidewater standards)
8. Northampton 4-5 (sleeper pick will feast on weaker D2 Eastern Shore squads)
9. Middlesex 6-5 (always blessed with speed)
10. Lancaster 1-9 (just like Middlesex but faster)
11. Windsor 0-10 (sleeper pick part deux) Dukes have been playing freshmen and sophomores the last couple of years. It'll start to pay off )
12. Charles City 2-7 (low on # but they do have some talent)
13. Rappahannock 2-7(have the misfortune of being in the Northern Neck, still them in the Tidewater and they are 6-4 or better
14. Chincoteague (who knows) (for years you have dodged the VHSL but maybe just maybe you won't be that bad....I mean you always beat K&Q and would probably give Surry a good game)
15. Mathews 1-9 (slowly building their program back up to where it used to be)
16. Surry 2-8 (new coach and best player transferred, might be rough)
17. King & Queen 0-10 (another new coach, Finishing the season would be an improvement over last year's team)
