They are ill informed, emotion driven, unrealistic, and filled with Trump derangement...but they know none of their current candidates can beat Trump. They want more than anything else to either get Trump out of office, or defeat him. They have no legislative plan that gives them victory, they might impeach him but that still won't get him out of office...none of these candidates can beat him either, so they're looking for another alternative before admitting defeat.
Enter Bloomberg. Won't work....he'll get drilled just like the others, but he does have more $$$$$ to last longer during the extraction.:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
But they know he can't get them over the finish line. His candidacy is a disaster, and they know it. It's the reason why he's not raising any money, and is in 4th place in Iowa. His candidacy does not inspire the Democrat kook fringe base. They need impeachment, or another candidate because they have nothing else.
Consider for a moment the simultaneous irony as well as desperation of the Left getting excited about a potential Bloomberg candidacy. (He got out of the race before he got back in again)
Their current leader in the Democrat race, Elizabeth (Pocahontas) Warren, hates the uber wealthy, yet she wants to soak them to pay for her 42 trillion dollar "medicare for all" pie-in-the-sky fantasy. The Left in general hates the super wealthy class, yet they are looking to a Billionaire to rescue their dwindling Presidential hopes?
That will not sit well with their anti-Capitalist, anti-rich kook fringe base.They couldn't have picked a worse/better time to be without a candidate who can beat the best/worst opponent they've ever had to run against.

Imagine how Bloomberg coming back into the race after skipping the early primary States is gonna piss off the Dems who slogged through all the snow & mud of Iowa and New Hampshire? I saw where even if they took 100% of all billionaire Americans' worth, leaving them flat broke, it wouldn't cover half of Warren's medicare for all plan. She refuses to admit that her's and Bernie's plan would have to include a massive tax hike on the middle class and it STILL wouldn't cover. They want what Socialism does and that's government control and bankrupting America.
