How mad would you be if the <sec west="" potential="" national="" championship="" game="">SEC West/NCG came down to the Egg Bowl, and Ole Miss runs one back on us in the last second like Auburn did? Discuss...</sec>

Of course I would be upset, but it is really difficult to compare MSU/OM to AU/UA, because they have both won legitimate multiple national championships. Even in losing, Bama is still Bama. It would be devastating to MSU or OM because we have never sniffed their success in the modern era. On the flip side, it would be the best thing this side of heaven to win to go to the SEC championship/possible national championship, while at the same time denying OM from doing the same.

Most of us would probably be more upset than Bama fans are now ... they've been there, done that.

However, and I don't know how the rest of you think because I haven't read the threads ... but Saban's decision to try a 57 yard field goal was probably the stupidest thing he's done in his coaching career. And I thought so before he did it. Most likely it would have gone to OT even with a Hail Mary pass to the endzone, but they also most likely would have won anyway.

Just got back in town, so it's going to be interesting to see tomorrow how the dozen or so Bama fans in my golf group are taking it.
