Still a lot of mental error that need to get cleaned up, but damn.. I thought the D execute the gameplan (keeping JFF in the pocket, and shutting down the run game) and the O sputtered at times.

Overall i I think this was our 2nd best game of the season behind Auburn.

Totally agree. If we play with this much intensity and heart for the rest of the season, win or lose, I'll be proud.

Agree. I think a lot of us would be on a different side of the fire mullen debate if we'd given anything close to that effort in the 2nd half of some of our losses the last 2 years. And even some of our wins.

Good effort on both sides of the ball. Dak really came on strong in the 2nd half.

As much as people really want to read something into the fourth qtr play, A&M quit at 51-27. But hey, it does say something that the boys kept playing. Maybe it's a positive that they can build on at home next weekend.

Should be " proud of Dak's effort today". He put the team on his back. Hell of a performance from him.

From the looks of it, his shoulder injury is more than just a stinger.

I've been critical as hell of Mullen and he deserves a lot; but our guys battled and I too was proud of the performance. We play like that and we can beat Ark and the Bears. Neither of them have anything that resembles JFF or Mike Evans.
Much respect for Dak and Tyler. Both of these kids have dealt with a lot this year.

On the flip side, we got everything we could possibly ask for in an upset (3 turnovers, out rushed A&M by 200 yards) and it never really was never really a game in the second half.

Still too too many mental errors and sloppy play. Break downs on D and O. Like Brando said, it's not like one problem you can point to with MSU.

D gets a turnover, offense can't move the ball
O scores before half, D gives up a TD in 30 seconds
Love makes a great play, then Cox blows an assignment on Mike Evans

This board has declared a moral victory.

I guess the past 1 and a half of piss poor effort really makes this blowout loss shine like a sparkling turd.

To be clear, I am in agreement. The effort was much, much better. I LOVED what Mullen did at the end of the game. A miracle almost happened on Lewis' punt return.

I think it falls on special teams then a combo of breakdowns on offense and defense.

You can say they gave up big plays but A&M scores on big plays every game. You have to go toe to toe on scoring. It's how auburn beat them. Offense sputtered in the first half and they got behind but the special teams gave up 9.

I didn't like how we handled the end of the 1 half. We got the ball with 2:30 to go on the A&M 35. We went hurry up the entire time with 3 time outs.

Dan, you need to have the foresight to realize you don't need to snap those balls with 20 seconds to go on the play clock especially with timeouts to burn. I know coach speak will be 'we're focused on scoring', but if we would have taken extra 30 seconds there, starting the second half 14-16 it's a completely different game.

Poor or management by Mullen and Dak.

I think Dan & coaches have stepped it up...

...especially given we have 49 Freshman, 20 Sophomores, 26 Juniors and 13 Seniors...I didn't compare to other teams.

The team did what almost every other team

that has played A&M has done, get a ton of yards, score a lot of points. Did the team really play with any more effort than previous games or is their D so bad that it just seemed that way. They held a 17 point advantage after three quarters despite down 3 in turnover margin. This game played out like the others but with more points is all I saw. Same silly mistakes, same head scratching play calls, same glimpses of something really good for short spurts only to **** it up. But hey, we saw that points can be scored in the second half so there's that.

Agreed. Take away Dak and it's ugly
