Pretty sure they just gave us a touchdown.

Looked like he had a firm grip with both hands and was pulling it in as he crossed the back line to me. Good call.

He was juggling and was out when he had control. Can't believe we got a call.

I don't give

a 17. We should never, ever schedule Troy again. If we can get out of there with a win, I'll take it (even though I'm about to blow a gasket). My hotel internet connection is so ******, I'm having to rely on ESPN & 6-pack for the score (which is making it even worse).

I agree. He switched hands after he got his foot down. We're getting the AL calls tonight.

I don't know what y'all are watching, but I saw a person (or possibly a robot) in a white outfit holding a large brown thing. That's about as detailed as I could get since I'm on ESPN's Vic-20 server.

Looked to me like

he gained control of the ball just before his foot hit the ground out of bounds. Very close, but I thought it was the right call, especially given that the video evidence has to be irrefutable to overturn.

The refs were giving us calls all night long

You almost never hear posts about refs helping your team, but they REALLY helped us tonight.

Don't get me wrong. I'm glad they gave us the call. But it was not a catch. My Ipad was clear on my flatscreen. By the way, what's a "figging" idiot.

It was crystal clear on my screen and it was a catch all the way. There is an r in there somewhere

I thought that, then saw it was a catch.

He bobbled then grabbed the ball with both hands while a foot was still on the ground, and never bobbled it after that point. That's a catch.

Just wait til we play Alabama and LSU ... they'll pay us back for tonight's good calls.

It does. He secured possession before he picked up the foot in the endzone and before the 2nd foot touched down.

Actually, it was 'Confirmed'

it was a catch. At the very least, there wasn't enough evidence to overturn it.

Being 'Confirmed' means that they not only saw no evidence to overturn it, they saw enough evidence to verify the original call.

When there simply isn't enough to overturn, the play 'stands'.
