Im getting a little dizzy. The camera person is in, out, then right, left too much and too fast.

Luft wins 6-0, Reese wins 12-2. Reese gave up the first takedown then seemed to get shaken up on the next exchange, but dominated the match from there

Blades wins 10-0, had to take injury time before her winning takedown. Still walking pretty gingerly on that ankle during stoppages

Katja loses 4-1. Weird match, they kept going body locks even though Katja clearly wasn't comfortable there, but she didn't show much urgency to get to the legs even when trailing. She took injury time at one point but I'm not sure what for

Good for Warburg! With McKendree still needing semifinal wins to qualify all 10, an upset or two would be good. I have to root for the Bearkats (to a point) since I have my bachelor degree from there (back when it was still a college).

Looks like McKendree went 10 for 10 first placers, so they will be sitting pretty well going in. Fortunately their one seeds won't be as automatic as Blades and Welker but Hawks still going to need to take care of business and get some help from others if they are going to track them down. Hopefully winning the region can still get Lilly Luft a top 6 seed so it's not a complete drop off.

I'd expect Luft to get a top-six seed, yes.

As for McKendree, I think they'll be favored entering NCAAs - my guess is by 8-10 points.

That's certainly overcome-able (as I make up a word) in a tournament format - especially as compared to what Iowa a pulled off in 2024 - but the Hawkeyes are going to have to bring it from top to bottom.
