No cross-bracketing at any point in either the East or the West in 3A until that state semifinals, as indicated.

ONE LAST TIME haha...im looking at your bracket sheet on page 5...it has 8 teams(top) comprised of the 2 pods in the east...the bottom has 8 teams(bottom) representing the 2 pods of the west.

THAT is your mistake.

There are a total of 16 teams in the East, two pods of eight. The 3A West bracket is on the following page.

Thus the labels "3A East" and "3A West" at the top of the pages.

Page 5 (3A East) will produce two teams, one from each pod.
Page 6 (3a West) will produce two teams, one from each side of the bracket

Those four teams will advance to page 13 (the state tournament) where they will cross-bracket.

Using your Phoebus example, they will have to win three games to advance out of their pod (page 5) which will send them to page 13 (the state bracket) where they will have to win two games.

yes, thanks....wow, easier than i thought, phoebus will go to state every year unless they change this...crossing fingers they dont!
