Those banned from GP. I commented on a post about the rumor Woody was stepping aside for health reason and said don't get our hopes up. Before it was deleted one dude snapped saying I was getting happy about him being sick so, having enough of the whole situation I posted the following.
"Not his healths you moron...just that he is leaving. Of course I do not wish anything regarding his health. It is getting more and more glaringly obvious that intelligence is not a requirement for posting and any dissenting views are quickly squelched by the board gustapo's. and your "wish I could do more than put you on Ignore" comment shows just how childish you really are.
The fact is, since I know this post will be yanked quickly and I will be banned, i plan to have my say. I love this university and all it stands for, however, I do not wear maroon colored glasses as most of you sheep seeem to do.
Wen I look at our coaching staff and team, I see a group of talented, hard working young men often thrown in front of the bus for losses by a head coach has yet to assume any responsibility for any of the poor decisions he has made for the last FIVE years. Week in and week out he sells them down the river and that is unfair to the commitment and dedication the show him
I have been an ardent defender of Croom and his coaching staff the entire time he has been here however I can no longer defend the undefendable. For the greater portion of his time here his poor decision making has cost us a great number of wins. And for those of you that want to baa in disagreement I will list a few for ya.
1. Omar Conner-tremendously talented athlete. Croom was determined to groom into a pocket passer and coached him down to not use his athleticism-ie scrammbling/running ability at quarterback.
2. Mike Henig-Bull headed determination that he was the quarterback of the future for MSU-enough said.\
3. Clock (mis)management-enough said
More recent
1. Croom Coast offense bullheadedness-Almost cost us the Liberty Bowl-in the final ticks he relented to allow WC to run the triple option...WOW we get the W.
2. With 2:30 left at La Tech-no time outs left. Huh????
3. Wes Carroll struggles through three games-What happened to the scrambling winner from 2007? Now he runs to the line of scrimmage and throws it away or forces a bad pass instead of trying for the extra yardage? Sound familiar-ie Omar Conner?
4. Auburn-4 and 1 their 45 we punt 4 and 15 our 45 we go for it. Coach: I felt like we could make it and if we didn't I was confident our Defense could stop them. HUH???
5. LSU-55 secs left and we're moving the ball and have momentum going our way and we....take a knee????
The list goes on and on and on and on.........
It is time for a coaching change. Top to bottom. Period.
Since I know this will likely get me banned for daring to criticize the great high and mighty Croom I'll say so long and I'll do so with this satisfaction: deep down you all know I'm right."
