Probably Germans. Morris guaranteed a win.

Sorry if germans. Due to apathy the only thread I’ve kept up with this week is the PS Vue one.

Turned on sports radio and they were talking about Morris guaranteeing a win in his Monday presser.

Ok. The radio show was making it out that he was guaranteeing a win against us. We’re definitely his best chance of getting on me anytime soon.

Exactly. The question was about personnel. He was saying they were playing whoever gave them the best chance to win. That being said, if our coaches are able to use it as bulletin board material, I'm all for it.

What a 100% DA comment by Head coach.
So, would they rather play for a tie or a loss?

Only time u don’t play to win would be...in the NFL...if u were trying to get the 1st pick in the upcoming draft...

All coaches say that, especially in underdog situations.

He didnt. He he said they were “going in to win”

Here is his exact quote:

"Well, first of all, we're going to win this football game this week," Morris said. "And whoever we feel like is the best opportunity to win that game is first and foremost who we're going with. I don't know that right now at this point, but I do know that all options are on the table. We would love to have an opportunity to get some more of our younger guys in at times, but we're going to win a football game. That's our approach."

To me, that sounds like he is guaranteeing a win.

Did you hear the question that was asked? Because that is part of the context that is not being mentioned. I think it was just typical coach speak, but if we can use it as motivation that's great.

There's been disagreement if he said "we're going to win this football game this week" or "we're going in to win this football game this week"

Regardless - if we lose this weekend - I'm officially off the Moorhead wagon.

I guess I'd rather have a coach guaranteeing a win than having his players write out "why" they play football. I'm hopeful for a win but I won't be shocked if Morris backs up his guarantee
