To post about something I’m only assuming happened, which is that half the board had a meltdown during the game. I’ll catch up tomorrow and certainly I’ll be spot on. I bet there were the usual comments about how this team just has “too many holes” and are “mentally weak” and whatnot. Questioning Lemonis, etc… Just general idiocy.
The reality is that this team is incredible at the most important stat there is. Winning. The team wins. This coach wins. If you can’t see that what we’ve had brewing all year is special then that’s on you. Lemonis was a mastermind tonight. His starter had a bad night. A real bad night. He went to the pen early and made all the right moves. Chase Patrick comes in solely to get the DP and that’s exactly what he did. Hatcher pinch hit single. Pinch runner…scores. Everything he did was gold.
Players showed out like they have all year. Once Clark hit the 2 run bomb it was over in my mind. They were not stopping us then. We’ve seen it too many times this year.
