The only way Miami has a chance is for Mendoza to get harassed in the backfield and have to run for his life like Sellers did.
Given time, Mendoza is about as accurate a passer as I've ever seen and defending it is extremely tough.
He hit some passes last night that were thrown to the only spot possible to be successful and he made it look easy.

I certainly hope so. If Indiana can pull it off, I think their record of 16-0 and National Champs will stand for a long, long time. Definitely a feel good story for me. Pulling for Indiana.

This kinda feels like that Nebraska/Miami Orange Bowl from 1983 when Nebraska was supposed to be absolutely unstoppable going into the game.
Not saying it won't happen, but I've seen too many "sure things" in sports to know there are no guarantees.

the rumors I heard, and I can not stress this enough, they are rumors, specifically mentioned IU, Cignetti and his staff, and stealing opponents plays, in particular the opening scripted plays.

It kind of feels like things are setting up for a Miami upset. IU is the darling of the nation, they have been unchallenged in the CFP thus far, and most folks have written Miami off. Perfect setting for an upset.
As much as I think (And Hope) Indiana CRUSHES Miami, I thought Ohio st would crush them, Then figured it was a fluke and Ole Miss would crush them. So Who knows!!??

TAMU was absolutely overrated, but at the time Miami played them there were still a lot of games left to play.
Miami has the defensive line to get after Mendoza, and if they do and rattle him, we have a game.
