i got:

PG Fresh Kimble
SG Dwayne Sutton
SF Samuell Williamson
PF Malik Williams
C Aiden Igiehon (If Enoch doesn’t return)

Solid back ups who will get their fair share:

David Johnson and Josh Nickelberry I see getting 15-20 mins a game, both extremely athletic and will provide a spark off the bench.

I hope Perry steps up this year and provides us some solid defense, he’s certainly capable, I just don’t trust his offense. The athleticism is there, he just needs to work on his ball handling, and decision making.

Dark horse: Jaylen Withers. I see this kid getting 10-15 mins a game depending on the matchup, but his length and sharpshooting will be beneficial for our squad.

Thoughts?

Most who post here expect him to stay in the NBA draft. I don't expect Enoch to come back either.

My prediction for the starting 5.

PG Darius Perry
SG Dwayne Sutton
SF Samuell Williamson
PF Malik Williams
C Aiden Igiehon

8, or 9 deep.

Probably because he has the ability to play the 2 guard and he’s interchangeable with Williamson. Sutton is basically a SG/SF. Basketball is pretty much positionless these days, unless you’re a post up center.

For instance, I see Kimble being the primary ball handler aside from DJ, unless Perry drastically improves his handles. Williamson, Nickelberry, and Sutton all can play the two guard, and if we want to stretch the floor with more length, we could have Williamson and Sutton on the floor at the same time with Malik and AI being in the post.

I really hope Enoch comes back. Would be a solid front court if he stayed.

Also forgetting McMahon and withers(if needed)
Withers is slept on heavily, plus I feel like with more depth, Mcmahon will be utilized more efficiently coming off the bench and having spot up 3s. He’s already proven he can hit them from NBA range, it’s just taller guards would figure him out and guard him differently and his shot was affected greatly. With taller quicker players who have a good shot being added to the roster, the focus won’t be so heavily reliant upon his production. He can come in and do his thing and make some good plays.

Guys, hate to say it, but no one mentioned Johnson. Telling you guys right now, he can play 3 positions and is a smart, unselfish player. He will play next season!
I’ve only watched highlight clips, but is he kind of a combo guard? Super excited we have him, I think he’s super slept on also. Who does his game remind you of?

Combo is probably a good spot, but if we are playing this positionless b-ball crap he could play the 3 against smaller, quicker teams. Not sure of your age, but I would compare him to a Byron Scott type of player, but bigger. Cerebral, handles the ball well, shoots well, plays solid D and best of all, VERY unselfish. Kid could have easily averaged 6-8 more points a game this year, but just wants to win.

All of that sounds great, especially the latter part of your post. Kid sounds like a winner and a team player. A Byron Scott comparison is phenomenal. I grew up watching NBA in the late 80s-90s and remember him. Can’t wait for next season, November can’t come soon enough!

Damn I skipped him to, with 6 players coming in plus grad transfer and who we have returning hard to keep up with everyone having a full roster 10-11 deep, instead of like last year 6-7 deep with some bench players

If these freshman can step in and contribute, this could be very interesting. I could see him blending the lineups just to have experience on the floor at all times. Last 4 minutes you put your best 5 out there.

Winging it, I go kimble/nwora/enoch/williams/sutton

Perry/Mcmahon/Johnson/Nickelberry/Williamson/Withers/Igeihon off the bench.....wow!!

He’ll start Sutton because of seniority IMO.
Bench being Igiehon, Perry, McMahon, David,
Nickelberry, Malik, withers, and still a possibility of slazinski not being redshirted

I don’t care what the starting lineup is for next year. There’s 10-12 guys on this roster that can play basketball. We might not even make it to the sweet 16 next year, but damn it I’m excited about the opportunity this team has and the position this men’s basketball program is in at the current moment with all that has went on in the past 3-4 years.

It’s called depth, depth and more depth. CCM has a very interesting and excellent problem. A problem that is good to have.

The practices should be fun for the coaching staff. The options are endless, Here’s the easy way out lineup:

Kimble
Williamson
Nwora
Sutton
Enoch

The big package lineup:

Kimble
Williamson
Nwora
Williams
Enoch

I actually hope Igeihon surprises and pushes for big minutes.

I hope some of these freshman are patient in understanding that we have 7 juniors and seniors that played critical roles for the last few years. Keeping folks happy and figuring out a rotation will be rough for Mack, but what a nice problem to have. No one I would rather have running the ship!
