running backs and quarterbacks combine for 2741 yards rushing (228 per game)

quarterbacks combine for 2625 yards passing (219 per game)

that gives us total offense of 5366 yards(447 per game)

I want to say someone on Nafoom posted a couple years ago about what one of their LSU co-workers was projecting player by player. He broke it down, and it worked out to around 700+ yards per game for the LSU offense. It was going to be an NCAA record breaking year.

I want to say this was with Jordan Jefferson at QB too, so there's that.

We, however, finished 65th with 371 per game. Which, of course, is about 40 spots higher than we had finished the previous 4 or 5 years.

Conner should never touch the ball... considering everyone else averages anywhere from 5 to 8 yards per carry.

That's as many yards as we gained last year, but fewer carries. That average would put us near tops in the nation.

also this adds up to 24 rushing touchdowns and 20 passing touchdowns. Assuming we make the extra points that is 308 points or 25.67 points per game. This would exclude field goals, punt return or kickoff returntouchdowns, andinterception or fumble returntouchdowns by our defense.

S.E.C championship and BCS game will bring our average down some
True. I was running the averages on 12 regular season games. A bowl game would make 13 games (Ibelieve we will go to a bowl). SEC Championship game isnot happening in adivision with Ryan Mallett, LSU, andBama. Your sarcasm was noted.
