The powerhouse #10 team in the country, Oregon State is a 3 point underdog at BYU. At least some they are seen as a fraud in the real world. Also LSU is a 2 1/2 point favorite over South Carolina.
Oregon State announced yesterday their starting quarterback was having surgery and would be out possibly the rest of the season. So there's the reasoning behind that, got nothing to do with perception.
