I have a friend that is a MSU alumnus, and he says that Peterson and their AD have been friends since they were children. I think that it would be a great hire for the team, but a bad situation for Peterson.

He will NEVER, and I mean NEVER be able to Recruit in that place. I mean, he has to compete with the mUTs up north, LSU from the soutwest, and 'Bama (and some degree Auburn in the past anyway). That is ridiculous, just ridiculous.

I think he would be crazy to take that job. He would be better suited to go to Auburn and recruit kids from western Georgia than go there. Just my opinion, though. He may turn out great, but he'll have to do it to prove it to me.

there's a lot of that out there right now. 4 pages worth of it on the vol nation board. i can't wait till we start kicking some of that sec ***. they all think this is a suck-o job, and no one can win here. problem is, other than a couple of years of jws, we haven't had a coach worth a crap.
