Tying up & hand fighting in the center. Cole presses forward a bit. Heavy collar ties & pushing in the center. Cole takes Ferrari to the edge. Ferrari drops in on a leg. No scoring, out of bounds & neutral restart. Tying up & hand fighting again. Cole reaches for an ankle, but can't get there. Forehead taps by Ferrari. Cole presses forward, Ferrari inches back. More tying up & hand fighting. Ferrari is backing up a lot & blocking off thoroughly. Stoppage for something. The ref is yelling, "Clean it up." Back to action. Ferrari drops in on an ankle, but time expires. 0-0

Ferrari takes down. He works to his feet & gets the escape, 1-0. Back to tying up & hand fighting. The ref is yelling, "Out of the grip." I'm not sure what that's all about. Cole reaches for a leg, but no luck. Ferrari shoots, Cole counters & gets a leg. Ferrari kicks free. Out of bounds & restart. Tying up & hand fighting again. Cole presses forward. Ferrari steps back. Ferrari shoots from way out, but he has no luck with that & time expires. 1-0 Ferrari
Period 3:
Cole takes down. He tries to come up, but Ferrari is hanging heavy on the back. Cole works to a quadpod, but Ferrari brings him back to his base. Cole works to his feet, but they're out of bounds, restart. Ferrari wants blood time, but the ref says, "No." Cole is still down. Cole tries to stand, but Ferrari drives him out of bounds, restart. Cole is still down. Ferrari still wants blood time, but the ref says, "No" again. Caution on Ferrari. Ferrari drops to an ankle. He goes over 1-min of riding time. Cole tries to come up, but Ferrari is suffocating him from top. Out of bounds & restart. Cole is still down. Cole works to a quadpod, then his feet & fights for the escape, 1-1. That was the best I’ve ever seen Rocco look. Dominant against a good opponent. If he keeps wrestling like that and continues getting to his offense I don’t see anyone beating him. Super impressive showing
Mirasola needed to convert his td opportunity. AJ is good on top. He wins a ton of matches this way

The night went more or less as expected. Nebraska favored at 141 and heavy with 157 a toss up. I think this loss will be good for PJ in the long run. When he attacks guys can’t stay with him. Unfortunately tonight he just wouldn’t pull the trigger. The bright spots for me were Rocco, Luke and Mesenbrink
Cole is getting better for sure. If he could have finished that takedown, he would’ve won. However, I hope we don’t go down to Hwy against Ohio State.
Does anyone know if Bouzakis is hurt and how long he is supposed to be out?
