That could be bad for him if Mendez loses, a good possibility giving up weight to a wrestler as good as Van Ness. I know Mendez has been aiming to challenge Mitchell for the Hodge. A loss here would sink those chances in a dual Ohio State can't win anyway. What is Ryan thinking? (I know that's an oxymoron anyway.)

Online chatter. Mendez going 149, doubt it, it'd be a good match.

Do they have a backup for 141 that they think would beat Davis?

With these injury withdrawals and concern for fan disappointment, Cael has agreed to wrestle Coach Tan Tom in a winner take all match.

I'm hoping for a well-officiated dual. I'll take any of these, as they have struck me as being fair in past duals: Rey Santiago, Matt Sorochinsky, Jason Wedgbury, Conrad Duffy.

Finding it funny the coach Tom Ryan ran down for not going to National Duals is the one fielding a healthy team tonight. Maybe he should learn from Cael instead of running him down and eventually looking stupid. Enjoy that Dual Championship with your run down team Tommy!

I think their are some head games going on with Ohio state's line up. Probably only 157 won't wrestle for them tonight.

I mean not sure Cael could give 2 sh*ts about Tan Tom's head games . Guess he's playing them with himself ?
True but sometimes I wished Cael had an edgier side to him. Remember when Tom bitched about PSU not having the match with them at the BJC? In the post match beatdown presser tonight, I'd love to Cael to say "This is why we're reluctant to waste BJC dates on them". Lol

It seems to always work out for him that way..

Ryan would be wise to get everyone healthy for the Big Tens. It's probably his best chance of winning an event with PSU in the field.

While we've dominated nearly everything competed on resolite, the Bigs hasn't been one (5 of the last 9). There is no defense against a hot team until you meet them on the mat, and with most of their team seeded in the top 3 at Bigs, the championship likely won't be decided until the finals.

A Longshot, even if healthy, but I could see a path.

barring injury I don't see a path .... those teams that didn't win B10s did not have the star power nor the 10 weight depth that this team has

Also to ask Cael if he is appreciative that he gets to live “rent free” in Tan Tom’s head!

Missed the dual last week while driving to Pittsburgh. Won't be missing this one. Shame Ohio state is as dinged up as they are, but Davino- Blaze, Welsh-Fishback and Bouzakis- Liledahl are going to be awesome and informative....I would love braeden davis to come out like Marco Vespa did against Spencer lee. Fk it. Go for it man.

If both coaches don't agree on 125 start, do they flip a coin? Pick out of a hat? Lol. I forget
