Probably have a point, it seems like Penn State can never get any takedowns.Wish our Guys would shoot outside more. Angle instead of shooting straight on. Will see in the Big Tens at the BJC.

That Paddy kid impressed me with his toughness.Mitchell rode him too long. Can’t believe Paddy didn’t get hit for stalling again in the 3rd period though
I don't know. Luke and Marcus both looked superior with their conditioning. Welsh wrestled unimpressive but then blew up an exhausted opponent and Cole was the third OT winner and seemed to have more energy then Feldman. I thought they looked pretty darn good.I'd really like to know what kinda training Cael put them through this week. Everyone looks sluggish and breathing heavier than they usually do in 3rd. Hell...Mitch even looked whooped.
Worst match of his season. Maybe he had the former team hejee bejees? Not much!!!!
You had to admire the strength of his conviction.Sparks insisting that riding time was locked up even after GIbbons pointed out that it wasn't.
I was there and I have to tell you, not once did I feel bored.Nice. That was such a beatdown it was almost boring outside of 125, 133, and HWT.
Does our dominance help or hurt the sport? Serious question. I know we all love this program but is it bad for the sport to have 1 program dominate like this?
No, it is obvious there must be a wrestle off. We need to reach into the portal, now!!!!Does this put an end to Cochran/Cole wrestle off?
Nah, he brings a lot of excitement to the match and he is always extolling the excellence of PSU.I'd love to stuff his mouth with a resilite gag-ball
OSU is a really good team. Probably second best in the country. The two OSUs are in the second tier behind PSU in their own tier. There are miles between those two tiers.I can never keep it straight. Is Ohio State a great team or a great program?
He didn't look tired at the end.I wonder if Rocco is a little under the weather.
He's over the top, during every commercial break i think he takes a double hit of smelling salts.Nah, he brings a lot of excitement to the match and he is always extolling the excellence of PSU.
For all the grief Arnold has received this season, without his big upset tonight Iowa is 3-4 on the season and tied for tenth in the B1G with Wisconsin!Arnold just took out big Mantanona. In SV ride outs.
Ben Askren and me to my buddy, though I said best case scenario.Who called 9-1?
Iowa's Carver record is 15,955. Penn State had the indoor record of 15,998. Tonight's 16,006 is now the new indoor record.Doesn’t look like Iowa is gonna set an attendance record tonight vs Michigan.……. Lots of empty seats.![]()
It doesn't, and it's not that close. I've got the 2018 team better at five weights (most decisively better), the 2026 team better at two weights, and three near toss-ups. The 2025-26 anOSU team is very good; the 2017-18 team was exceptional. Not sure this OSU team beats 2018 OSU.
In 1974 Wade Schalles, a 158 lb wrestler for Clarion, went up two weight classes to wrestle Floyd Hitchcock of Bloomsburg at 177 lbs in the PSAC Wrestling Championship Tournament.Back in the 1980s 3 time 150 pound champion Nate Carr bumped up to wrestle 3 time 158 pound champ Jim Zelesky. Zelesky majored Nate, just physically dominated Nate.
Um, no. Taylor was never going to beat Dake. Dake was Taylor's daddy.Blaze/Davino is a lot like Dake/Taylor. Usually that's going to lean ever so slightly toward Blaze/Dake ..but it's razor thin and the learning curve here for the first match is for Marcus to be more active in the first 5 minutes to either get that takedown or stay clear of getting dinged, which could have happened there in the first one.
With that said there is no way Byrd deserves the 1 seed in two weeks and the only person who thinks so is our new resident hater Corby, who I am now calling MSU157![]()
Yeah, but he needs to be that way to balance out his moribund partner. He's over the top, during every commercial break i think he takes a double hit of smelling salts.
Really? Were you there?I was there and I have to tell you, not once did I feel bored.
PSU should schedule a match for a WHITE OUTIowa's Carver record is 15,955. Penn State had the indoor record of 15,998. Tonight's 16,006 is now the new indoor record.
Iowa holds the record for outdoor attendance, 42,000 plus in the football stadium against Oklahoma St.
He wrestled the back up 125Anyone else notice Byrd suddenly gets a tech tonight? No way in hell he wants that 2 seed.
Not true. Posted earlier Blaze should get the #1 with the win tonight and his strength of schedule. I also picked him to win and NCAA title this year before the season started. Not many here were doing that in October. What a haterBlaze/Davino is a lot like Dake/Taylor. The best representation was a photo where he and Tom B were holding a trophy. Big's I believe. Neither wanted to give it up. They both must of known it might be their last shot being in the proximity of one.For being a tough accomplished wrestler in his past, he sure has become a whiney B!atch!
Or escapesProbably have a point, it seems like Penn State can never get any takedowns.
Technique… All day long. Besides, I think a lot of guys look (and think they are stronger) than guys like Levi and Kasak until they feel that country boy strength and realize they’re on the mat with a brown bear.how many times I gotta sat strength means nothing Bucks are always well at least looking stronger than PSU guys I will take technique all day long!
Won money with a psu-16.5 and iowa+ 1.5 parlay. Both teams were -160.Ayala pulls out the W for Iowa with a tech.
Askren. He nailed it. I over estimated tOSU and had it 8-2.Who called 9-1?
You're right but he didn't seem sharp at all. For a guy with his defense he was super easy to finish on.He didn't look tired at the end.
