Has Cole progressed enough that his bout with AJ is competitive? I hope so.
Looking forward to 133 also, to see if Marcus has progressed enough that we see some distance.
141 is a prelude to Ohio State, hang in there; however, better match up with Hardy but better not be sloppy which he can be at times.
157 is the one I'm looking forward to the most. Neither Marcus or PJ have had those moments where they had to wrestle from behind. This could be one and it will be interesting to see how both react.
At 174 can Rocco display his offense and score against a Allred or are we doomed to the dreaded SV OT?

He will have to fend off a bull rush double. Can't recall who it was but another heavy simply pulled him up with underhooks on AJs shots.

Gonna be fun. Our Real season Starts Friday evening. Think PJ will crush Taylor. Taylor will try to keep the match close.

MSU twisting himself into a pretzel to explain how he's not actually defending mediocrity when he's clearly defending mediocrity is pretty hilarious.
No practical hire over Brands tenure, however long, could've outdone Iowa's mediocrity, is how I boil down his position.

At this point he's said it so many times I can't fathom what compells him to continue to post replies about it (check that, a certain kind of loneliness and need for the last word).

I appreciate how him as an MSU fan has self appointed himself as the arbiter of who and what is a true Iowa fan.

Best case for Nebraska is winning 4 matches. 141/157/hwy and one of 174 or 184. Likely scenario is 8-2 or 9-1 the good guys. Hwy is going to be a one takedown match definitely winnable.

As legend goes MSU's wrestling regime didn't/doesn't listen to him and doesn't/won't set goals aligned with his own (shocking), so he fanboy followed Metcalf (and Brands) from VA Tech to Iowa.

When Metcalf moved on to ISU, that was a bridge too far. Now he is stuck defending the Brands.

In an alternate universe he is all in on VA Tech's Bassett/Miller future, where Metcalf is head coach, and is posting as MSU158-A.

Who in their right mind and knows even a little bit about wrestling can watch Levi wrestle this year and think even for a spilt second, yep our guy has a shot.

I don't even think 141 is a given for them. This version of Hardy is nowhere near what he was last year.

As long as Davis doesn't make a mistake and allow a big move, he has a fighter's chance.

Didn't he indicate he's happy as long as he doesn't get thrown to his back? This shortly after implying he ate like a mofo when he was supposed to be redshirting, like duh, what a stupid question.

He was very refreshing during that presser.

Curious how Davis does against Hardy. Hardy will let him in on his legs but he also will be baiting something that Braeden has to watch out for.

In terms of AJ vs Cole, I expect the coaches will have Cole take neutral. Don't waste any time under AJ. Cole being under 230 is basically a lock to get at least ridden for a minute by him if not ridden out. Hopefully the match being at PSU will have a referee that tells him to get off his knee.
