Yes it was very hot in the palestra against iowa. Still second best atmosphere ever for a Penn state basketball game (best was second half of NIT game against Miami).

Checked out the schedule that came out today....PSU has 6 home games on weekends this year. About freaking time!!!...last year they had ZERO home games on a weekend after Xmas break..Palestra games are great...

I don’t need to spend money on a hoops game if I want to sweat my a$$ off with young men.

Yes, it was hot for Iowa, but it was freakishly warm that weekend. Mid 60s if I recall correctly. I dont believe the palestra has AC. It was so warm that they were opening doors at the corners and putting fans at the edge of the floor during timeouts. That heat wore out Iowa's all american center Garza in the 2nd half and may have tipped the game in PSU favor.

Part of the experience. Best barn to watch a basketball game. I’ve seen many games there. Love the place.

Giant visit the Eagles at LFF on Jan 8! Last regular season game. Philly will be rocking, hoping for a noon hoop start and a 4 o'clock football start. BEER!
