#3 Purdue beat 12-6 Michigan State by 1 point tonight. Spartans are in a 3-way tied for 4th in Big 10 standings. Purdue is atop at 6-1 and 17-1 overall with close calls. Beat Marquette by 5, Nebraska by 3, Davidson by 8, lost to Rutgers by 1, beat Ohio State by 2, beat Michigan State by 1. Winning 6 straight close games in March Madness is a tough mountain to climb.

Doesn’t matter.

Unpredictability is the most predictable thing about college basketball.

Purdue will go further than WVU. Purdue final 4 team.

Purdue often plays well in the regular season, then flames out early in the NCAA Tournament. Lather, rinse, repeat.
