Interested to see how it goes with first come, first served parking. Still think C and D lots should’ve been left as reserved.
I heard the WiFi was tweaked some, but due to Covid issues wasn’t complete. Has anyone else heard that?I hope it works out for everyone. To gather outside the stadium area to be able to park together sounds challenging, especially when there's always that someone who couldn't be on time for anything. Bumped up wifi, supposedly is going to help with the digital tickets.
I agree it keeps getting more complicated. I use to send my wife our tickets just in case something happen to my phone. Now that’s become ridiculously complicated. But they said electronics would make it easier. That’s the way of the futureThat’s what I hate most about today in the world.
Everything has been made more complicated. Mostly because there is different information given to different people
I’m afraid the paper tickets may be challenged by a taker because they got the “screen shots and paper tickets won’t work” memo. Why put that on there, then turn around and “come on over and we’ll print yours”
Then, gotta hope the “electronic” tickets work.
Then gotta hope we don’t get our arses handed to us by an EKU team who HAS to believe they have a chance.

U just gotta laugh because anything else is just so damn futile.I agree it keeps getting more complicated. I use to send my wife our tickets just in case something happen to my phone. Yep. Should have made it an option, not a requirement. Great for those who want to use the digital option; a headache for those who do not. And you can't just assume that everyone has an Iphone or even a smart phone, or uses the wallet option, or has their phone synced with their financial accounts. (I'm tech savvy and refuse to link financial accounts to my cell phone due to security concerns). Or assume that everyone has a CAF or ticketmaster account to transfer tickets -- heck, most who do have them don't even remember their passwords.U just gotta laugh because anything else is just so damn futile.
Progress they say. Adapt with the times....it is the better way.
I say NUTS to all that.
Time to revolt and squeek squeek until the wheel gets greased with contingency alternatives not reliant on technology so damn much.
All you tekkies....get off my lawn dammit!![]()

Operations manager needs a thorough *** chewing it seems. How the he!! do you run out of bottled water, the first game in Sept with a small crowd. If it was 90 degrees and a decent crowd, we would have been dropping like flies. 35 fricking minutes to stand in line for a couple beers & water, then to be told we are out of water? WTH!
My ticket wouldn't scan either, people behind me were getting impatient so the kid said just go ahead..The Purple lot worked out ok but there definitely were random open spots. The ticket takers couldn’t get my tix scanned off my phone so they told me to just go in in (attendance number is short by 2). The concession situation was a disaster. So much for the improved WiFi.
Glad that you and CardiacRed got in. But that raises a huge question. Why have mandated digital tickets with significant restrictions if they are just going to let people in without scanning them? UofL basically created an unnecessary complication to replace an established, working system. It's almost like they hired the same people who came up with New Coke and Windows Vista. The Purple lot worked out ok but there definitely were random open spots.
