*Man, wouldn't it have been nice to have that timeout that UK used on a freaking PUNT on that final possession? What a joke.

*How do you get SACKED on a hail mary when you have time to throw (LOLOLOL). Towles shouldn't play another down of football this season.

*3 drops on the first possession cost UK seven. That set the tone for yet another awful night of football.

*1st and goal at the one foot line = no points.

*1st and goal at the two yard line = no points

*Pick six.

*Punt blocked.

*Huge Baker drop on third down (low throw).

*Penalties on multiple punts and punt returns.

*Another 4th and 1 at midfield blown call by Stoops.

*Timeout BEFORE a punt (hahahahahahaha).

*Failed to get lined up for a field goal attempt, took a penalty.

*Missed field goal.

*Fell for one of the oldest trick plays in the sport.

*Love the 2nd and long run game Dawson is developing (hahahahaha).

Overall, the most embarrassing loss in the Stoops era. Kentucky spent all four quarters doing just what they've done all season long, cutting their own throats.

I'm still on the Stoops bandwagon, but he should be absolutely embarrassed tonight. Kentucky made a seasons worth of mistakes in one game, and they've made a lifetime full of mistakes this season. His teams CONSISTENTLY look unprepared and undisciplined.

Towels didn't even get the pass off at end of game. Why Barker didn't stay in is atill puzzling. This game is entirely on the coaches. Terrible planning. Terrible execution. No one had their heads in the game. At any point.

Erik how can you still be on the bandwagon? I always support whoever the coach is, but Stoops proved again and without doubt that he is in over his head.

I am not a Stoops fan. Last years season's end collapse showed me a team that regressed and was not motivated to play when it counted. Hopefully, the AD sees it too.

Well that fake play that you call the oldest in the book decided the game.

And I know it's the oldest play in the book, but don't forget we scored the same way with a terrible offense against UF when they had a top 3 defense. Those are desperation plays. And it worked.

We have to have a coach that DEMANDS Discipline and attention to detail. Until we get that UK Football will NEVER succeed in the SEC.

This coaching staff has lost a lot more than a football game tonight.

No question we are the worst coached team in the country and might be the worst college team I have ever seen.. The screw ups this year are legendary. We basically have to be 50 points better than someone to have a realistic shot to win with all the blunders we commit. I know it sounds rash to demand a coaching change after year 3 but this is too much. This is reaching Gillispie level incompetence. You can't let this go on another year.

I truly commend those are sticking with this program, you are damn good fans. As for myself I am done with it, I don't believe it will take the next step with Stoops but you have to give him at least 5 years and in 2 more years we will be an even bigger dumpster fire then we are now.

Stoops is a dead man walking. It will take two more seasons because Mitch doesn't have a sack but Stoops is done. And you can kiss the recruiting goodbye. Any player who would want to play for him needs to have his head examined.

I'd cut every single player on the team besides him. It's pretty dammed clear that 84 scholarship players and the entire freaking coaching staff have a defeatist attitude. Get rid of every single piece of this program besides him.

Eric, if this debacle doesn't buck you from the stoops bandwagon then nothing will. This was nothing but poor coaching advanced class tonight. If I were stoops I would feel bad about calling myself a coach, admit maybe I wasn't ready and resign after tonight's horrific display. No way we don't start losing a portion of this next class and possibly some current players. Tonight was the biggest joke I have ever seen!

Recruiting might be the one thing they have going for them, but that isn't going to last. We already saw last year's class fall apart after the team collapsed in the 2nd part of the season. I suspect we will see the same thing happen this year, maybe even worse. The class after that will probably end up in the 50s if Stoops is still here at that point. After 3 years of this ****, nobody worth a squat is going to want to come here.

cats2010, like I said, it's all about recruiting. But I agree with your post. And in three years now, Stoops has been mostly a joke between the lines. Game changing mistakes have become the norm.

I agree but that doesn't mean the fans have to stick with it, I hope people don't show up the next two games.

Erik, after games like tonight, how much longer are you willing to give Stoops? I mean, it really does not get worse than this as far as coaching ineptitude at the fbs level. You just don't see many teams this unprepared at this level.

Stoops makes Hal "draw his playbook in the dirt" Mumme look like Vince Lombardi in comparison.

Still on the Stoops' bandwagon, but nothing I've seen gives me hope. He's going to have to make some tough decisions in the coming months.

FilsonCat, one more year if things don't "look" better next season (and two if they do). I don't mean wins necessarily. But Kentucky should look competent. My Goodness. They looked like the football version of the Washington Generals tonight. Awful.

I am off the bandwagon. It has no driver.

It is unfathomable that in arguably, the most important game in his tenure, he and his cronies coached like it was their first ever.

He's not the answer, IMO. Not sure there is one. We just can't do football.

I am done with Stoops. I really though he was the guy and needed time, but there is zero evidence he can fix this. He is completely clueless on what he is doing and is robbing the fans and university of his salary.

That much is undeniable at this point. Even Stoops' biggest defender has to concede they look very poorly coached. I think something is going on. They didn't look this consistently unprepared and undisciplined (to use your phrasing) in his first 2 years. Heck, they didn't look like this the first half of the season. Some players look to have quit. I don't know what it is - divisions in the locker room, squabbling among the staff, something. Something has changed in the last 4-6 weeks. They look done. And they look awful.

Coaches look like they hope to win instead of actually having a plan to do so. They're certainly doesn't SEEM to be any sort of plan on either side of the ball.

We are in a bad place as a program if we are realistically thinking we can't beat Charlotte. Though, if the EKU game is an indicator, we may really struggle to win even that one.

Stoops ain't getting fired. Best we can hope for is to get new coordinators and special teams coach.
Recruiting is the only thing Stoops has right now. He better hope and pray they don't bail on him.

Is the recruiting really legit though?

Will any of Stoops recruits perform at a higher level than what we have historically seen at UK?
