Who do you guys think has the best/worst mechanics out there?

Brady, Brees, Rodgers? I got to go with Brees...he's not even 6' and still gets the ball where it needs to go.

Obviously Tebow's is horrible, and I think they should just let him play...its never gonna be fixed. Philip Rivers's releaseis also ugly (looks like throwing a shot put). And I understand mechanics help, but its not gonna make or break a QB.

However, I got afuture MSU QB in the making and want to make sure he starts off right.

I go with Rodgers. He has the quicket release and shortest arm action in the game outside of Phillip Rivers. Rodgers also has strongest arm and most mobility of the bunch. He is pretty flawless

Rodgers is damn near perfect and Brees isn't far behind. Of course Brady isn't bad either. Peyton was great but always looked stiff and Eli throws off his back foot too much and somehow gets away with it.

He doesn't have the size and strenght of the other guys like Brady and the Manning's so he has to make up for it with great form.

Rodgers has great mechanics...but so does Brees.

Rodgers has perfected the outside back-shoulder pass that is tough to defend; Brees has perfected the one-step drop that is impossible to defend when its a slant pass to Jimmy Graham that takes 1.2 seconds to lead to a short gain or touchdown. A one-step drop...it's really pretty incredible.

I'd have to say at this point they are 1(a) and 1(b) - but as a Saints fan, I'd still take Brees over Rodgers any day.

STRICTLY MECHANICS: Tom Brady. It's textbook. It's not even close between him and #2 which has to be Peyton Manning.

Who makes the smartest plays IN THE GAME, while also having one of the top 4 skill-sets in the NFL at QB? Rodgers and Brees are a toss-up. Brees is about to set the single-season completion % record for the 2nd time in 3 years and he's about to throw for 5,000 yards for the 2nd time in 4 years, something that's only been done once before Drew did it. Not only that, he's going to shatter the record by a couple hundred yards. He's captained the NFL's #1 offense made up of late round picks and undrafted free-agents how many years in a row now? You can't argue those statistics, but he doesn't have the best MECHANICS. Brady does.

Rodgers and Brees are both great, but I personally believe Rodgers is over-hyped much like Phillip Rivers is. His receiving corp is gangbusters, but yet he doesn't have the stats Brees does. He has a better team and the record shows, but because he has a better overall team he's going to win the MVP, which is pretty much par for the course if you look at the Heisman and every other award or publication nowadays.

I think anyone who knows both the Packers and Saints can see Brees is doing more with less. All you other Saints fans will attest to how bad Stone-hands and some of the other guys with incredible stats can be.
