Your order may prove to be correct. However, SIlls looked decent as a WR (with limited schooling at the position). Chugs has been at QB during the season and has seemed to do pretty well (based on reports coming from the staff during the year). Crest looks the park, has the physical make up. Crest seems to run well. but his passes also appear to be inferior. Maybe another WR/RB candidate for the future. In none of these cases do we know or understand the ability to get the team into appropriate plays (a seeming strength of Howard). My GUESS is that Sills will be given a choice of QB or WR. Spring will separate him from Chugs. I look for Sills to choose staying with the other young WR crew. I guess that Chugs becomes the back up to Howard as we evaluate the incoming freshman for third string duty. Crest will slowly slip from the QB discussion. Obviously, those not chosen as QBs may decide to transfer or accept that they could be productive at other positions. I believe the 2017 class will have a highly rated QB that fits what Dana is wanting to do--run the QB and pass effectively while playing smart and making the proper calls. The above is my reading of the tea leaves and truly represents a semi-educated GUESS only. Interesting spring coming. ALSO: the RB position concerns me a little. I am concerned about the development and happiness of Thomas-Williams. (I would not be at all surprised if he leaves the program.) Shell has not become the feature back he, I believe, anticipated. If he graduates before next fall I would not be surprised for him to transfer to the opportunity to be THE back and not have competition from the likes of Smallwood. We would then be quite thin and inexperienced at RB. Just another guess but, somewhat, based on snippets that have been published during the season.
