It's an inside joke between the two of us, likely predating your arrival here. Years ago, VR had written extensively over his excitement for a game, but later returned and explained he had not made it on account of a blowout on 355.

Couldn't avoid a piece of wood on the road and it tore through the right rear tire like a javelin.

Would have been really cool if the car was a Javelin, or even better an AMX.
One of my friends owned an AMC Eagle Sport AWD way back in another lifetime.. it was different to say the least.
The AMC Eagle might have actually been the first SUV, sadly...

No Aston Martin parked in my garage. We have one car, foreign made, but nothing as grand as an Aston or a Bentley, or a Ferrari. A Ford is not beneath me, but I will admit I would loathe being seen an an AMC......
