I listened to a linked interview on TOS. He didn't sound like a player that was committed to anyone. I wouldn't get my hopes up.
It seems he had a rather average senior year; however, I'm not sure if that led to us cooling on him.

Actually HTO, unlike you, I do not claim to know what recruits are going to do. But your adolescent response is typical. My post in NO WAY claimed that I knew anything about our recruits. In fact it said the opposite. So I hardly claimed to be a recruiting guru. That is your conceit, not mine. So the fact you would make this dumb *** statement about me on a completely different thread shows: A) You really are just a juvenile chat room bully who hates to be called out by anyone; and B) You resort to really dumb ad hominem comments like the one about me above that makes no sense just so you can get the last word in; and C) despite what you said in the other thread you do give two ***** about what I think since I clearly got under your skin.
And yes little grasshopper I too am waiting for you to make a detailed prediction of which recruits we are going to get. Do tell us oh wise "insider" what Santa will bring Husker football?

That does not even make sense. So according to you I am claiming to be a recruiting guru precisely because I claim I am not a guru?? That I prefer to sit and watch what actually unfolds (reality) rather than waste my time with the iffy predictions of blowhards like you? (Fantasy).
And good for you!! You told us about ONE prospect. Why should I care? If and when the young man signs with us I will celebrate. I will send you a congratulatory jar of Sparky's sauce just so you know how much I appreciate your wisdom. But in the interim I certainly put zero weight on your opinions on this.
So for the record: I know zilch about who we are in on. I am responding HTOto your frequent attacks on posters who have expressed concerns over our slow recruiting. YOU are the one claiming to know how ignorant such posters are. YOU are the one saying you know we are in on big recruits. So the burden of proof is on you. Who are we going to sign oh wise one? People that are worried don't need to be...this staff won't close like the old staff. This staff will not only fill to the limit (and probably 2-3 more) but they will be filling with quality.

Sure this staff will close better than Peelini staff... But I'm still worried about the quality part.
Some on here were predicting a huge boom before the weekend and nothing materialized.
I think the boom was because Reese was announcing, and with the tweets from Fitzpatrick and Butler, it appeared to be here that he was committing.

Wrong. I am not claiming to know what is going on. Merely looking at our recruiting ranking and raising a legit question about how this staff is any better than the last one. Watching and waiting to see if it gets better. That is hardly dooming and glooming and I am not the only long time poster raising such concerns. And the concerns are compounded by the fact that our current coach is only the second Husker coach in over five decades to post a losing record.
