Question about Brown...

Mack Brown that is. Just saw on the front page that Texas gave him an extension through 2020??? I didn't read the article, but does that seem crazy to anyone else? He is coming off 2 verydisappointingseasons in a row. I would think his seat would be getting hot, but I guess not.<div>

Mack's (perceived) hot seat was being used against them in recruiting...so they took this measure to give reassurance to recruits. Another yr with less than 8 wins, they will still fire him, write a check for the buyout, then offer Saban $10mil/yr. Just speculating there.... and pointing out how they live in a different world logistically/financially than the rest of us. Normal rules need not apply...
