You always here about all of these assistant and position coaches that coached under the same head coach, and how that coach helped mold all of these guys into the successful coaches they are today.
Does Dan Mullen have a coaching tree started? With Hudspeth and Diaz going on to bigger positions, if they make it big and become HC's of their own BCS programs, did they come from the Dan Mullen tree? Does Diaz now fall under the Mack Brown tree? Has Mullen even coached long enough for someone to be considered having learned from him? I just wonder how much success Mullen has to have, or how long Mullen has to be at MSU for someone to be considered as having "learned" under Mullen. </p>
