Veazey ended his column today with a pretty interesting quote.....
I'm thinking if we dont patch those holes and get better at keeping other teams better players out of the paint and playing a better brand of defense we are in for some rough times against the UT's, UK's and maybe even Arkansas and Bama.
So my question is this........Do you think our team will simply play it's game and hope for the same results of the last 2 games OR will we LEARN ENOUGH from this weeks near losses and 'patch those holes'?Sure, Georgia isn't bad, but to be out-rebounded by 14 and outscored in the paint by 28? Ouch. The Bulldogs may very well learn enough from this week's near losses to patch those holes. They have a week to do it. State is off in the middle of next week before heading to Alabama on Saturday.
