Question about MSU recruit from West Point? Michael Carr.......

I saw Michael Carr from West Point play tonight he's a good looking ball player with decent size and good speed and won the MVP of the 5A game......I know he committed early but is there some issue with this guy? He's listed as a 3 star recruit but that looks low IMO........His only offer is from us? Is it grades or what? This guy can play.........</p>

If Bama came after him tommorrow he would be a 5 star guy overnight. I only care if he can play.

He doesn't have any other offers, because schools knew that he was going to stick with State no matter what. For some reason though, he is really under the radar. He didn't even make the MS/AL all-star game.

he missed the majority of his junior season due to injury. There wasn't much film for the recruiting "experts" to study or combine results to analyze. Then he committed to us very early and has just stayed under the radar. Rosebowl and Paul Jones have been hyping him all year though. He is a player. He will start out at WR for us. </p>
