Question about our offensive strategy on 1st down

I wish it were possible to know the actual % on how many times we hand off to Dixon up the middle on 1st down.

It has to be 80% or more. Everyone in the stadium, including the guy cooking hotdogs in the concession stand, knows what we are going to do on 1st down.

Dixon up the middle, usually for little to no gain whatsoever.

Croom is playing smashmouth football here. He's gonna run it up the middle and hit you in the mouth with it. The question isn't if Dixon is going to get the ball or not; the question is if you can stop the Dixon train. That's how we roll up in this *****! SLY FOR COACH OF THE YEAR.......AGAIN!!!

That would be an interesting stat. Having a list of every play call we have opened up a game with offensively under Crxxm. It would definitely be some kind of hand off and not a deep play action bomb.

--Out of the 4 passing plays we gained a combined 36 yards.
--Out of the 6 rushing plays we gained a combined 2 yards.
(1 pass was incomplete and 2 rushes were for negative yardage and 1 was for no gain.)
I think Crxxm needs to stick to the passing game to start a game.

Our game-opening play has netted only 38 yards in 10 games. And 28 of those came in the MTSU game.</p>
