Question about replies

When replying to the main topic of a thread, you still get a field for the title. However any reply at least 2 replies deep, that option goes away. Is that intentional?

Wat makes it a little annoying is that for these replies, the mouseover shows the same first bit you have already read in the "title" and sometimes cuts off the rest of the post. Having a title for all replies would alleviate that a bit...

I hit the Reply to Thread maroon button and don't have the title field.... I do love the Quick Reply function.... would be perfect if it had a title field as well.

ETA: Would be nice if mouseover in Hybrid View box worked, as well. If those are my only 2 grievances, then we are golden.

You can still write there but....

You have to click on the "Go advanced" tab to get the title line to open up.

I guess the slight annoyance there is that most people won't. Wich makes reading the posts with just a mouseover difficult if not impossible. I am writing some extra stuff in here to prove my point about the mouseover. Is there a way to make the mouseover not repeat the part of the reply already displayed in the "title"?

I can see most of your post in the mouseover. The mouseover was custom written just for us b/c I knew people would complain. This is the best it's going to be.

If you click double click reply twice - it also brings you to the "go advanced" editor option.

If you are a fan of the threaded view this may annoy you but if you like the topic view then really the title line becomes obsolete after you click on the thread.

Not complaining at all. I'm used to forums only being topic view.

Right now my settings are > Topic Thread view with Hybrid view once in-thread. What I'm wondering is in the little "Hybrid View" box at the top of the thread, is it possible for a mouse-over to work in there?

Think he's referring to mouseover within the thread. For instance, I use hybrid view. Mouseover works just fine in the main message board. But if I click on one post in a thread, mouseover doesn't work for the posts that are direct replies to the one I clicked on. Not a big deal since I usually just click on the first post in the thread and then all the posts show without needing it.
