Ithought there was some talk a while back about there possibly being an upper deck level on the north side. With those drawings it doesn't look like that would be very easy to accomplish. I may have missed it, but are the upper deck plans out the window now? With that new jumbotron right there in the center, it seems like it would be almost impossible to put an upper deck on that side. Am I just wrong on this, or was there at one point talk about an upper deck portion to the expansion?

long term plan. All we'll have to do is remove the 10 year oldout of date jumbotron and begin construction on the upper deck.

I guess that's still the old jumbotron there. Well that makes sense now. That thing will be gone in the next 5 years and I guess the upper deck will go up soon after that I would imagine. That little raised seating there below the old jumbotron I highly doubt will be the "upper deck". I would assume they will build a new one that matches the ones on the east and the westsometimein the next 6 to 8maybe.
That doesn't look like the old JT. I'm pretty sure its going to be a new set up and after the new JT's life expectancey of 10 to 15 years expires, it will be taken down and the upper deck project will start (if needed). I'm just guessing at all that though.
Notice how that jumbotron is incredibly wide. They're going to buy all the jumbotron they would need in the future and go ahead and put it up. When they put an upper deck above it, all they have to do is take this jumbo tron down and re-assemble it on either side of the upper deck like they had in the older renderings. From what I understand, digital video boards are made up of modular pieces so they can be reassembled with different sizes and resolutions.

the letter t and nuther t in sTaTe form a strong tower-esque resemblance! Ah, but who am I kidding. There's 2 of them, total coincidence.
I get the purpose of the tower, but they need to put one on the other side too. First of all, it would look better. Secondly, it would work better for flow of people - I'd hate to be sitting on the East side of the NEZ and have to come up the single ramp on the West side.
