Do you like or dislike the NBA rule that allows the team to advance the ball 3/4 court by simply calling timeout?

The Heat just won tonight because they called a timeout without even inbounding the ball after a basket, and they got the ball at their own 3pt line for the inbounds play.

And follow up for those who like it- what other sports should go this route? Should the NFL allow a team to start at their own 25yd line if they call a timeout after a kickoff?

in all seriousness, I get that the NBA rule was made to make the end of games more interesting, but it's a gimmick. It allows for a team with almost no time left to magically advance the ball without pressure or time running off the clock. It gives the team that should be at a disadvantage, a huge advantage, without having earned it on merit(play).
I know it's not some new rule, but each time I see it affect a game, I just question it's justness. Am I missing something here that makes it an awesome rule?
