Is 25 mbps fast enough to watch espn3 for good picture quality? I have Directv and this pathetic 1.25 mbps AT&T DSL is a joke. THe FLA/MSU game looked like an animated cartoon and buffered and froze up more than any game I have ever tried to watch on espn3. Espn3 always buffers or freezes up to some extent.

It is if you're getting that speed

Plus they're trying a data cap here in Nashville of 300 gb per month with 50 extra for $10 after exceeding that limit. I hate comcast and what they're becoming but when it works, they're product is great. I'll stop there.

Same here, I have Comcast

And pay a car note every month....watch espn3 and Hailstate constantly with apple tv with no issues. I'll be a Comcast customer until something truly better comes along.

That's plenty fast. I can watch it fine on my phone which usually gets 5-10MBps, max I've seem is 30 and it's fine. I think they say you need 5 for streaming video.

I've been with comcast since they were roadrunner. Last year we dropped from the highest priced internet package to the lowest and I can't tell much difference. Watched one of the games last week from the laptop and only stopped to buffer once at a commercial brake.

Comcast turned the 53.30 that I owed and was due on 5/7 over to a collection agency on 5/2. I got calls all weekend on 5/3 and 5/4. Even though I paid what I owed on 5/5 and got written confirmation from Comcast that I don't owe them, or anyone else, what they charged me the bill collectors keep calling me. I have retained an attorney, and will be filing suit if we can't settle for what they did to my credit.

If ATT dropped dead in my area tomorrow, I would go without television.

Do not do business with Comcast.

Thought I replied to this thread earlier but don't see it. I don't have complaints with the internet. Their internet speeds are fine. TV is another story. Some channels are not watchable in HD due to tiling. ESPNU is not watchable in HD.

I've watched ESPN3 with less than half the speed you mentioned, and it worked just fine. I have since upgraded my service (now get over 30 most of the time) but haven't tried it since the change.

I suppose it matters where you live as to the quality of Comcast service. I don't have Comcast, but my son does in Atlanta (actually Kennesaw) and all his channels come in fine with no problems at all, including ESPNU. And his internet service is great.

I live in Ridgeland and we are getting C-Spire. It is suppose to be 100 times faster than Comcast. We shall see.

plenty fast if you're actually getting that speed.

be sure to use their speed test after you install. I have the 50mbps and every now and then I run a speed test because speed "magically disappears" and I have to make a tech come out and fix my ****.

I have Comcast internet only and Directv. I can't log in to ESPN3 because it's not available to Directv Subscribers and I don't have a TV Cable package with ESPN from Comcast. I think AT&T internet subscribers are able to log in to ESPN3. Hopefully Directv subscribers will get access to ESPN3 when Dtv negotiates their new contract with ESPN in Sept.
