Question for C34.....

or others with greater football knowledge than mine. The formation we lined up in with Farvre had a bunch of guys to the left and the center there with one Bama defender on him. Why would we not try that formation with Russell in the game in an effort to take pressure of him? It seemed to force the entire Bama defense to move to one side of the field. Just asking. Why would it not be done more often? How is it defended if it is done more often?

which limits number of reps and such...you dont want to put too much on Russell's shoulders right now- so you can have one group working on that formation with Farvuh and the routes you have with it- while Russell works with another group on your base gameplan- this gets two things done at once- and limits how much you put on Russell's plate.

that this is right up favre's alley. It looked like something from a flag football game with the QB lined up so far back. On a side note, I'd offer up dawgstudent's left nut to see us pull it out against the bears. Nix would **** a monumental pile.
