What's with the Fox HD channel? 401... The only time I see it being used is for college football. Our game is on FoxSS tomorrow, and I thought I'd seen those games in HD on that channel. Unless they change it there's no getting our game in HD tomorrow, right? Sorry if it's been discussed, I didn't feel like searching through all the "are we on tv" posts.

I have the channel, but the guide NEVER lists anything. I have to basically flip it over there to see if anything is on. The same goes for CSSHD. It's been like that for about a year or so. You would think that after they updated (or downgraded the firmware, based off of your opinion) this issued would have been solved. I don't expect our game to be in HD tomorrow, but you never know. If this question is to be answered, it'll have to be on this board. You are wasting your time calling Comcast customer support. They'll just tell you to bring your box in.
The game WILL be in HD tomorrow. Sometimes they update the guide and sometimes they don't. The reason is, except for Braves (or whatever the local team is for that regional Fox) just about zero of their content is in HD anyway. I watched some of the Florida game on ch. 401 last week in HD. It will be there. CSS is the same way, I would venture to guess that zero of their content is in HD outside of football. They added that channel because the Braves Peachtree TV games are simulcast on CSS but most of the time they still just use 401 for the HD so I imagine that 402 CSS HD was added specifically for football. I'd be willing to guess with almost certainty that Ole Miss's game next week will be on CSS HD as will our game against MTSU.
I haven't even looked at 401 in about a year, because for a while I'd look just to see and it would be "off air"
I just read your post and decided to try it out and its Sportsouth showing the Braves/Cardinals game is in HD right now on 401. Thanks... I always start at 403 going to HD because of that. Now I know.</p>
