Neuqua (6-2, 5-2) was without leading rusher/tackler Nick Osikowicz, who's day-to-day with a lower body injury. His loss seemed to particularly hurt the Wildcats defensively. The 28 points were the most allowed by Neuqua this season and most Lake Park has scored.

Neuqua Valley scored slightly over its average but Glenbard North came up with the defensive plays it needed, 2 interceptions apiece by Tyrik Henderson and Jace James.
And the Panthers ran the ball. Devion Hodges carried 38 times for 276 yards and 4 touchdowns and Isaiah Hawkins added 45 yards and 2 more scores to pace Glenbard North's 42-28 DuPage Valley Conference victory in Naperville.
The Panthers lacked 1,000-yard rusher Vittorio Tricase, out injured. Behind linemen Dan Fletcher, Jon Czernek, Ian Jefferson, Joe Vazquez and Juan Jadue, Hodges' second straight game of more than 200 yards put him in the 1,000-yard club as well.

As GePreps points out below Nick was back after being out for the LP game. At this time of the year it's always about dealing with dinged up players. I think Neuqua will play tough this Saturday and the will put HC behind the 8 ball with a few of their key players out for this game. I'm planning to head to HC for the game after Naz finishes up Saturday and expect a very good, hard hitting game!
