975 has been good enough most years, but last year it would not have been enough.

I've always disliked using the APR score for putting 5 win teams in bowl games. Would much rather it be based on some strength of schedule formula.

Just win 6 and remove all doubt. 5-7 shouldn't get a bowl game. It's just not logical.

Grant the fair weather faculty a reprieve from selling their 50 yard line tickets as long as they give our student athletes all A's

OK but if there aren’t enough 6-6 teams to fill all the slots, should they just cancel the bowl games?
That seems… bad.

I don’t care if it’s alphabetically or from a bingo hopper, if it gets us in, it gets us in.
