I know there's not a chance in hades it would happen but if the Lads from Lafayette beat the Bulldogs this year would you vote to fire Mullen? Considering the shakey groundbeneath Nutt's sneakers,I was wondering how solid Mullen iswith the powers that bein Starkville.

We need consistency at the head coach position...like Boise State, Virginia Tech, Fresno State, TCU and watch SMU...Mullen has desire and wants to be competitive (if he will stay)...with TSUN getting rid of coaches every 3-4 years, eventually Dan will lock down Mississippi recruiting...I consider last year a fluke in recruisting with TSUN. </p>
Mullen isn't going anywhere this year even if we lost out from here. Mullen has shown enough to know that if he has enough players he can win at least to the point of having us competitive. And we aren't the kind of progam that needs to be changing out coaches after 3 years anyway. Obviously if things don't improve this year some changes will likely need to be made after the season is over.

We just went all in which is why his monthly bank statements look so nice. We're used to losing, but Dan's first years made us to swoon. We were suddenly worried about losing him because, we believed, any coach who could win at State could compete for a national championship at a bigger school. And the national media thought we we something special as well. Maybe Dan bought into this whole ********, but it turns out that he needs to recruit better players, especially linemen.
Run the ball well and our sub-par QB looks like SEC material. Run the ball well and our receivers find space. Run the ball and we eat up clock and put other teams in lousy field position. Who cares whether we could understand Dixon whenever he spoke. He was a tough runner who hurt defenses. Ballard found the endzone often and we won not because of some aerial attack. Dan's fine but he needs to remember why we win when we do win at Mississippi State. Time to mine the Jucos for some immediate starters next year, as long as we don't have to bring in the posse of some thug from Eastern Arizona Technical College-North Campus.
Or are we going to just keep $!*%$$$ with the uniforms. Maybe some matching mouthpieces and cleats--quite tasteful.

so we can be 100% sure instead of 99% sure that your out of your 17n mind. Everyone would have jerked Mullen off a few weeks ago if he asked and now these kinds of questions come out when we lose to the #1 team in the nation, the defending national champs, and UGA..... Give me a 17n break man.
