If Dan looses tomorrow, does he go on the hot seat next year? Year one 5-7 excuseable, year two 9-4 great season, year three 5-7 after being ranked in the top 25. </p>

The rest of the losses are to ranked teams ... nothing to be ashamed about. We'd like a better record, for sure, but considering the competition we're doing OK.

How cana loss to a 2-9 team with a fired hc be moving in the right direction? Some people on hereare out there. So 5-7, 5-7 in two outof his three season inlcuding a loss to a 2-9 team is still moving in the righ direction?Johnson85 said:Losing to UM tomorrow would be a very bad sign, but it wouldn't put Mullen on the hot seat. As long as the program is still generally moving in the right direction next year, Mullen's seat will be nice and cool.
If we win tomorrow, the program will be in much better shape than when Mullen got here. If we lose tomorrow, it will suck, but we'll still be in better shape than when Mullen got here, there will just be lots more questions about how good Mullen really is.Dawgfann1977 said:How cana loss to a 2-9 team with a fired hc be moving in the right direction?
