It's a smoky summer day, and I'm bored. What year did UK hold #1 ranked LSU on 4th down, and knock them off? Pleasant memory for all of us huh?
I remember the day. I and a friend were chased out of SE Utah by bad weather. We stopped to have dinner at a Mexican place he knew in Grand Junction. They had the game on so we stayed to watch. He let the whole place know I was a UK grad. Good times for UK football even if they cost me a drive over Vail Pass and the Tunnel in an all out high country Colorado blizzard. We'd been trying to beat it until my attention was caught by what UK football accomplished that day.
I'm also old enough, and was a student at UK when we won our last SEC title in football. Besides the answer to my question what are some of your best memories of our football Cats? I'm sure I've forgotten many though I do remember beating Bama in CW, and the goal post coming down.
